Diffusion Tensor Imaging is a technology for describing the direction, magnitude, and anisotropy of water molecule diffusion. It is currently the only non-invasive method of obtaining in vivo white matter structure, and is of great value in the diagnosis of diseases such as cerebral infarction, cerebral hemorrhage, tumors, and in neurofunctional research.
