Recently, the first China-UAE Economic and Trade Digital Expo—Chengdu-UAE Digital Fair, co-sponsored by the Chengdu Trade Promotion Association, the Abu Dhabi Chamber of Commerce and Industry, and the Hala China Executive Committee, was held in Chengdu. Through the online exhibition platform of the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade (CCPIT), the event was live streamed to more than 200 businesses in smart cities, new energy, culture and creative, and medical from 11 countries, e.g. China, the UAE, and Egypt for online dialogs about development on the cloud.
The opening ceremony gathered participants from Beijing, Dubai, Abu Dhabi, and Chengdu online. Speeches were given by Liao Chengzhen, Deputy Secretary-General of Chengdu Municipal People’s Government, Li Xuhang, Consul General of China in Dubai, Feng Yaoxiang, Director of the Department of Trade and Investment Promotion of CCPIT, H.E. Mohammed Hilal Al Muhairi, Director General at Abu Dhabi Chamber of Commerce and Industry, and Mr. Adel Abraham, Member of the Hala China Executive Committee.
Industry experts and business leaders at home and abroad were brought together to give keynote speeches and share insights on smart, energy, and cultural industries. Dr. Xueming Zou, Chairman of AllTech Medical Systems, gave a keynote speech on "Opportunities for China's High-end Smart Medical Imaging Equipment in the Belt and Road Market".
Since the launch of the BRI, AllTech Medical Systems has moved rapidly to establish its presence in or deliver products to countries such as Thailand, Kazakhstan, Turkey, and Ethiopia in the key areas of the initiative. At the same time, production integration and after-sales service bases have been built locally to reduce production and operation costs, improve customer satisfaction, and expand the sales network. AllTech Medical Systems also expands further into overseas markets by leveraging advantages in products and core technology, the mature "Internet+" system, the good market coverage of local offices, and the integration of superior resources.
When China proposed the Belt and Road initiative in 2013, the UAE is one of the Middle Eastern countries highly responsive to and actively involved. Located at the intersection of the Belt and Road, the UAE has been China's second-largest trading partner and largest export market among Arab countries for many years. China is the UAE's largest trading partner. Over the past seven years, both countries have built even closer economic and trade ties.
The fair aims to build a closer trade partnership between China, especially Chengdu and the western region of China, and the UAE, one of the most stable countries in the Middle East with the fastest economic development and the highest level of globalization. The two sides will further deepen cooperation in diverse fields such as medical care, energy, trade, and cultural creativity.
As the Belt and Road initiative advances, AllTech Medical Systems will deliver high-end medical imaging equipment, technology, and services to more countries and regions through capacity and service output, and at the same time continue to increase investment in overseas markets so that more countries can feel the charm of China’s high-end medical imaging.
